Collaborate with me!

I’m always happy to hear from academics, charities, and community organisations who are interested in working together.

My background is in applied health and environmental psychology, with a particular interest in making sense of messy, real-world data. I enjoy working with datasets that don’t arrive perfectly formed (whether that’s mixed quantitative and qualitative data, routine service data, wellbeing measures, or feedback collected through everyday practice) and helping turn them into something useful.

Alongside my academic work, I’m especially interested in supporting local charities and organisations across Gloucestershire to evidence and reflect on their research and evaluation practices. Many organisations are already collecting valuable information but don’t always have the time or capacity to step back and make sense of it. I’m keen to collaborate in ways that help organisations understand their impact, strengthen funding applications, or develop proportionate and ethical approaches to evaluation, without adding unnecessary burden.

Sometimes collaboration is as simple as an informal conversation, a bit of methodological advice, or help thinking through how existing data might be used more effectively. In other cases, it may develop into something more sustained or reciprocal.

If you’re an academic interested in collaboration, or part of a charity or community organisation thinking about research, data, or evidence, feel free to get in touch. An initial conversation is always informal and exploratory.
